Our Story
Broad Street Commercial Realty was built to serve one side of the table: the tenant. Today, we are a tenant representation and consulting firm focused on helping organizations navigate real estate decisions with clarity and confidence.
We work with occupiers across the Mid-Atlantic and across the nation, advising on location strategy, market dynamics, and long-term space planning. Our approach is grounded in research, relationships, and real-world insight—connecting people with environments that support how they work, grow, and operate.

Meet The Team
Michael Z. Jacoby
Michael Jacoby is the Chief Executive Officer of Broad Street Commercial Realty, LLC. Mr. Jacoby has more than 39 years of experience in the real estate industry and is an expert in tenant representation, large-scale leasing, acquisition, and development transactions. He has successfully completed commercial property transactions involving the acquisition, financing, development and leasing of more than twenty five million square feet throughout the United States. Mr. Jacoby personally focuses on overall corporate strategy, all aspects of tenant represntaion and is often called upon to consult on various real estate dilemma's.
Haze McCrary
Haze McCrary has worked in the commercial real estate industry for twenty years. He specializes in investment sale and tenant representation leasing assignments in the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area. With his broad range of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. McCrary provides services to international, national, and local companies and associations. He is well versed in Washington, D.C., area market activity and has a wealth of experience conducting comparative market studies, generating pro forma statements, and analyzing leases in-depth with Argus and ProCalc.

Mark Strauss
Since 1997, Mark has built his career providing real estate advisory services to Tenants throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and across the United States. His professional, transparent approach has earned him a reputation as one of the Washington DC area's most trusted commercial real estate tenant advisors. Mark's approach to gain a complete understanding of each client's business allows him to execute on the most effective ways to provide real estate solutions that align with their short and long-term business objectives. To do so, Mark serves as an advocate on his client's behalf from inception of the real estate evaluation process through lease negotiations and move-in. His specialties include strategic planning, benchmarking, financial analysis and transaction execution for leasing, acquisitions and dispositions.
James Rayborn
James M. Rayborn has worked in the commercial real estate industry for thirty-five years. He specializes in tenant representation in the Washington Metropolitan Area. With his broad range of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Rayborn brings a copious amount of market knowledge and tenant representation experience. He has negotiated several billion dollars in lease and sales transactions over his career. He is known as "the association broker" and has represented over 500 non-profits, associations, and other foundations in the Washington, DC area. With the tenacious representation of his clients, Mr. Rayborn has achieved several millions of dollars in savings for his clients
